About the role We are seeking an

AI Software Engineer

to join our growing technology team in Singapore. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and deployment of artificial intelligence solutions that drive innovation across our organisation. As an AI Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, building, and optimising AI-powered applications and systems. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to translate complex business requirements into scalable, robust technical solutions. This position offers the chance to work on cutting-edge AI technologies whilst making a tangible impact on our strategic objectives and competitive positioning in the market.

What you'll be doing

Designing and developing AI and machine learning models, algorithms, and software solutions using industry-standard frameworks and libraries

Writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code whilst adhering to best practices and coding standards

Collaborating with data scientists, product managers, and other engineers to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications

Implementing and optimising AI models for production environments, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance

Conducting code reviews and contributing to the continuous improvement of development processes and practices

Troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving technical issues within AI systems and applications

Staying current with developments in AI and machine learning technologies and evaluating their applicability to business needs

Participating in the full software development lifecycle, from conception through deployment and maintenance

Documenting technical specifications, system architecture, and implementation decisions for knowledge sharing and future reference

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field (or equivalent professional experience)

Proven experience developing software using modern programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, or Go

Solid understanding of machine learning concepts, algorithms, and practical experience with AI development frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar tools

Experience with data structures, software design patterns, and object-oriented or functional programming paradigms

Familiarity with version control systems and collaborative development workflows

Knowledge of software development best practices, including testing, continuous integration, and deployment

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment

Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred: Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform

Preferred: Familiarity with containerisation technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes

Preferred: Experience with natural language processing, computer vision, or deep learning specialisations

Preferred: Contributions to open-source AI or machine learning projects

Preferred: Experience in VS Code, Cursor, Google AI Studio, Google Antigravity.
